How can I request for a Return or Replacement and get a Refund?

 

Can I get a Refund?

Yes, you can return item(s) and get a refund, so long it is in accordance with the Seller’s Return/Refund policy.

Please do refer to the Seller’s Return/Refund Policy which you should be able to find on their shopfront.

In the case where the Seller has not provided a Return/Refund policy, you are protected under the law by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if the item(s) falls in any of the following categories:

  • Item(s) is faulty
  • Item(s) is not as described
  • Seller had no legal right to sell the item(s)

By law, you are allowed to request a return of any item(s) within 14 days of purchase (if they fall into the above stated categories) and you have another 14 days to return said item(s). 

Please note that ShopItNear does not handle any Sellers’ item(s).

How can I request for a Return or Replacement and get a Refund?

You can request for a Replacement/Return/Refund by following the steps below:

  • Sign in, click Accounts → Orders
  • Click on the Order Number you want to make a request
  • Click on Request a Replacement or a Refund
  • Choose Replace Item or Refund from the What would you like to do: dropdown
  • Select the item(s) that you want to make a request, choose a reason from the dropdown
  • Add any comments to help the Seller, this could speed up communication
  • Click Return

At this point the Seller would contact you to agree the next steps. Please reach an agreement with the Seller at least on the following issues:

  • Any additional charges
  • Packaging and return

Once the item(s) is received by the Seller, the money will be refunded.

Note:

  • Any refunds will be made directly to the same card used for ordering.
  • There could be charges associated with Refund/Returns.
  • Amount refunded will be full amount less any charges agreed with the Seller.
  • It can take a couple of days for the Refunded amount to be credited to your account.

 

If after 5 days, there is no response from the Seller, or if there is a dispute that cannot be resolved between you and the Seller, please do contact support@shopitnear.co.uk
