The colour theme inspiration for both Betsy Butterfly and Wiltshire Blueberry comes from a box of ribbons gifted to Alice long ago by a great, great aunt. The collection is reminiscent of a flower garden in full summer bloom as well as evoking the imagined explorations of attic treasures in 1920’s Paris.
Betsy is an old favourite from Liberty. Betsy is made of up tightly-knitted florals, and was created for Liberty Fabrics in 1933. It was designed by the enigmatic DS, whose work makes up many of our favourite house patterns. Betsy has been part of the Classics collection since 1982.
